Bush Heritage Australia is an independent not-for-profit organisation that buys and manages land for conservation and works in partnerships with Traditional Owners and the agricultural sector. Its mission is to protect our irreplaceable landscapes and magnificent native species forever.

Design by Nature has worked with Bush Heritage Australia for close to ten years, as we are passionate supporters of this environmental organisation established by Bob Brown. The organisation closely aligns with our studio’s values and our personal connection with what they stand for. Our relationship across many collateral pieces has been exciting and a natural fit.

Our work for Bush Heritage Australia has involved managing the brand and creative direction. We allow the spectacular photography of the landscapes and native species to be the hero, supported by bold typography and an earthy-warm colour palette.

BushTracks has been a standout success. It was shortlisted for Best Magazine of the Year, and achieved its goal as an informative fundraising tool through engaging photography and storytelling.

We place people in landscape photography to connect the audience with the land and place themselves there. One example of this is the Resilient Together billboard campaign with our creative and tagline development. This campaign was seen Australia-wide.
