Environmental Justice Australia (EJA) is a national public interest legal centre. They use the law to empower communities, protect and regenerate nature, safeguard our climate, and achieve social and environmental justice.

Design by Nature was engaged to work on EJA’s brand refresh to position them as a leading advocacy organisation. This involved a series of workshops with stakeholders before rolling out the new brand across printed collateral and a new website.

Given our location at Abbotsford Convent, our studio has a special connection with the Yarra River. For EJA’s report, ‘Re-imagining Birrarung’, we shot a series of portraits of the leaders involved in the organisation’s grass-roots change.
