The Wheeler Centre’s ever-popular festival of ideas, Spring Fling, returned in 2024 under the evocative banner of ‘Wild Abandon’. Design by Nature once again joined the festival to help promote its inspiring program.

This is the third consecutive year Design by Nature has collaborated with the Wheeler Centre, allowing us to both build on and breathe new life into the sub-brand, adding new life to a fixture on Melbourne’s cultural calendar.

Capturing the spirit of ‘Wild Abandon’ saw us incorporate vibrant plant-based graphics to reflect both the themes of exploration and boundary-breaking perspectives.

Our visual language was consistently applied across all touchpoints, from digital assets to eye-catching street posters, bringing the festival’s impressive line-up of change-makers, rule-breakers and unique voices to the public.

“We’re so proud of the creative Design by Nature designed for our 2024 Spring Fling campaign. We received glowing praise from audiences and stakeholders who encountered our street posters all over Melbourne and our digital campaign on socials for the originality, vibrancy and charming use of Australian native flora in the campaign. Thanks Anna and Isabella!”
