Baker Institute — Helping people live healthier for longer

The Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute 2022 Impact Report, brings to life the theme ‘Towards Tomorrow’, illustrating how today’s research is shaping the future of medical care. Through a warm, engaging, and inspiring design, the report highlights the Institute’s groundbreaking work in cardiovascular disease and diabetes research, while reinforcing the vital role of donor support. The visual approach balances scientific progress with human connection, using authentic photography, clear typography (minimum 11pt for accessibility), and a discovery-driven layout that invites deeper engagement.

With a focus on change and transformation, the design reflects the Institute’s mission to shift medicine from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. The storytelling-driven layout ensures that complex medical advancements are made accessible and compelling, fostering a sense of pride and belonging among stakeholders. This 36-page + 4-page cover report serves not just as a record of achievement but as an invitation for continued partnership in creating a healthier future for all Australians.
